Daphna Sadeh-Neu Teaching
Daphna is currently teaching the Double bass in Cambridge as we’ll as at workshops in London and East Anglia . Daphna teaches Double bass to the level of University and adults, she has developed a method for young students who are starting small size instrument starting with 1/16 and progressing with the size as they get taller.
For the last 13 years Daphna has been teaching in King’s College School, St John’s College school and the Perse school in Cambridge. In addition she has students at Anglia Ruskin
University and students of the music department in Cambridge University.
Daphna also has her own teaching music studio in Cambridge.
Daphna’s students were accepted to major young musicians orchestras such as National Children Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra ,Britten Sinfonia Academy, Aldeburgh Young Musicians and National Schools Orchestra .
Daphna specialised as a performer in Classical Music and Jazz and her teaching includes both genres. In her teaching she uses her own experience as an active performer, band leader and composer.
In Jazz she has developed her own sound as a performer and a Jazz/ world music composer.
Daphna shares her experience in Jazz playing while teaching Jazz improvisation, World music, Klezmer and middle eastern styles.
